So thankful to our local PBS station (WXXI – Rochester, NY) for featuring me on their show “Need to Know.” Helene Biandudi Hofer is the talented and award-winning host. She asked me to be the first person featured in her mini-series called “Double Lives.” This looks at people who have a professional day job and also follow a passion with a “side hustle.” The camera crew followed me around one morning at my day job as an educational administrator. Then they came over to my house so I could cook them a meal. I made polenta covered in Italian sausage, peppers, onions, tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil. Here are two links that will take you to the show. That’s me doing a chiffonade of basil 0:14 seconds in. The full feature on my story begins around 14 minutes in.
