Even a full moon!
But… the food and family traditions live on, and that’s what really matters.
On Christmas Eve, we go with our Italian roots (homemade sauce, pasta, and Nannie salad). Later that night we have “Baby Jesus’ Birthday Party” with a layered chocolate cake.
On Christmas morning, we open our gifts (check out my new smoker!) then we dig in to Eggs Benedict, home fries, and garlicy spinach. We top start the day off right with homemade whiskey sours. Check out the recipe below.
EZ Whiskey Sours
- 1/2 cup whiskey
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup frozen lemonade concentrate
Blend to frothy. Serve with Marischino cherries.
