Iced Cappucino with Ovaltine = Chovaltino

Cheaper than going out for an iced coffee drink and a great way to use up your leftover coffee.


Every morning I make 3/4 of a pot for morning coffee for my wife and me.  Every day we have a few cups left over.  I pop this into the fridge in a mason jar.  Later in the day I shake up a little iced coffee drink.

Here’s the recipe:


Into a Cocktail Shaker:

1 cup of cold coffee

4-5 ice cubes

1/8 cup half and half

1/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1-2 tbsp. of agave syrup (depending on how sweet you like it)

1/4 cup of Ovaltine

Shake it up.  Pour it into a pint glass.  It’s mocha-licious!
